Forres Chinese New Year is a co-operative effort between the Shen Foundation, Falconer Museum, Scottish Highland Islands Chinese Association (SHIMCA), Dao Tea House, UK Research and Development Centre for Traditional Chinese Culture (UKCTC) and a group of Forres’residents. The event is supported by Moray Council and the Chinese Consulate of Edinburgh.
The aim of Forres Chinese New Year is to celebrate this special time in the Chinese calendar with a community experience of some of the unique and colourful traditions from the East.
